Owning a home can be a significant milestone. A Home Loan can help you secure your dream property with ease. Your loan eligibility depends on multiple factors, including your income, credit score, and existing financial obligations. With a monthly income of Rs.70,000, you can avail of a substantial loan amount based on your eligibility.

Understanding Home Loan Eligibility

Lenders evaluate multiple factors before approving a Home Loan application, such as income stability, credit score, existing liabilities, and employment status.  A high credit score can improve approval chances and may lead to better loan terms, whereas ongoing loans or debts can impact your eligibility negatively.

Eligibility Criteria for a Home Loan

You need to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for a Home Loan with Bajaj Housing Finance:

  • Applicants must be either salaried Indian citizens (including NRIs) or self-employed Indian residents
  • A credit score of 750 or above is preferred
  • Salaried individuals should be between 23 and 67 years** old, whereas self-employed applicants must fall within the age range of 23 to 70 years**
  • Salaried applicants must be employed with a public or private sector organisation or a multinational company, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience
  • Self-employed individuals should have a business with a vintage of at least 3 years

**The upper age limit is considered as age at the time of loan maturity. Additionally, the upper age limit for applicants is subject to change, depending on the property profile.
