Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: Overview
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a government-backed housing scheme that aims to provide affordable housing to the disadvantaged population of urban and rural India. Launched in June 2015, the PMAY scheme facilitates interest subsidies for real estate purchases through Home Loans.
